Capilla Santa Ana part 2 Museum

My second activity in Capilla Santa Ana was taking a tour around the chapel. And I must say it blew me away.

Because there was so much grandeur outside and inside the chapel. Starting with the doors which are old and imported from Europe were for me statement pieces already. Well, I mean the wooden door had studs. And tour guide informed that, the more studs the door had the richer the owner of the house. And that was just the door to the chapel. You have to check the details of the other doors in the chapel they are not of the same design and each has its own history. The archs and glass stained windows are another work of art not be ignored.

Just sitting there at the pews, looking at the altar with its life like statues adorn the background of the altar and pillars of the chapel was another treasure to behold.

Our guide also gave us a tour of collections which were very expensive artifacts so they had to be enclosed in casing because of their delicate nature.

Then moving on to the second floor were vestments of the priest and an antique organ on the second floor. And a differnt angle towards the altar. The third floor was the location of the bell tower with a small dramatic winding stairs.

Also, it is nice to go around because the whole place is air conditioned.

As we went around the chapel it made me realize that the couple who built it didn't spare a dime building this place and buying each of the items dispalyed in the chapel.

I highly recommend that you go and discover the place yourself. And bask in the splendour of the architecture of the chapel which exudes of a European vibe. And discover their interesting collection of religious artifacts.
